Applying this patch is the simple, usual process.
Get yourself an application such as Lunar IPS,
or another tool that works with IPS format.

Open the program, find your patch, and then your
Moai-Kun ROM. The correct ROM is the one with this info:

	Database match: Moai-kun (Japan)
	Database: No-Intro: Nintendo Entertainment System (v. 20180803-121122)

	2 Information about Moai-Kun
	----------------------------

Moai-Kun is an Action Puzzle game made by Konami and released in
1990 for the Famicom, and it never got released internationally.

In typical Konami fashion, it's a wacky game. It has a simple
goal, get every collectable on the Stage and reach the door,
but the game is... not a cakewalk to say the least.

In fact I think the difficulty curve of this game is both high
and also rather inconsistent. It is a fun game but can get
quite frustrating. It is a simple game as far as content or
gameplay, really, the difficulty comes from the puzzles and
	level design.

As far as I know there were no sequels or remakes of this.

	3 Information about this Hack
	-----------------------------

So... To get this finished feels rather surreal. I started
this in 2015 after finishing the initial release of my
Final Fantasy III Hack. Quite some time ago, huh?

Seeing there was a Stage Editor, I thought to myself that
making a "Level Hack" could be fun, but I did not want
to be just that. Because I had my brain mostly full of
Final Fantasy after working on that other thing, I kinda
felt to give it a new coat of paint.

It's nothing incredible of course, but I think this way
	is more unique and fun.

In any case, I've been working on this on and off for very
long, not because it was hard (although designing Stages
can be quite time consuming by itself), but well...

Real life and other projects got on the way and were
	more important.

	So... About this Hack.

Chocobo Kwehst contains 45 new Stages, that vary between
more action-y Stages with platforming challenges or a bit
of monster-defeating action, and more puzzle oriented
	Stages.

The overall difficulty of my Hack I'd say is lower than
the original game, I tried to make it it less frustrating,
and the difficulty curve should be more gradual and nice
instead of the uneven rhythm of the original.

Besides graphic changes, I found out the game had one
unused mechanic, what I call Arrow Blocks, and why the
developers left it out is something I've asked myself for years.

This little block adds so much to the game, it gives a
level creator a lot more possibilities with puzzles or
to create platforming challenges... it being cut is weird.

But on the other side, not being used in the original game
also lets my hack to be far more unique. So I got that,
	I suppose!

It's refreshing to finally get to take this out of my back.

4 About Mechanics & My Small Guide
	----------------------------------

This game, because it never left Japan, has no manual
you can easily look at, and because of its higher difficulty
and puzzle-oriented design can get annoying to new players.

That's why alongside this Hack I add a small PDF Manual
trying to teach the mechanics and properties of all the
	gameplay elements.

This was sort of a necessity too even if you could read
the Controls and usual mechanics elsewhere, as the Arrow
Block is not used in the original game and in my Hack I
make extensive use of it, because it's probably the most
"complex" object you can interact with in this game.

So please, take a look at it before playing!

Thanks to Legato for creating the Stage Editor Moai-Senpai.
Without it this Hack would simply not exist, so...
